The present invention relates to: a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating hangover containing a germinated soybean embryo extract or a fraction thereof; a method for preventing or treating hangover using the pharmaceutical composition; and a food composition for preventing or treating hangover containing the germinated soybean embryo extract or the fraction thereof. Since the germinated soybean embryo extract contained in the composition of the present invention exhibits an effect of reducing a blood alcohol concentration, it is possible to be widely used in the development of various types of products capable of preventing or treating hangover.
