The present invention relates to a method of simultaneously optimizing the carbon dioxide emission and nitrogen oxide emission of a combustion engine including a vehicle exhaust gas posttreatment system. The method includes: a step (100) of selecting a predicted horizontal line (PH) first; a step (101) of confirming a nitrogen oxide limit value (mNOx_max); a step (102) of minimizing a cost function (K) including carbon dioxide emission and nitrogen oxide emission, and in this case, conforming to the nitrogen oxide limit value (mNOx_max); a step (105) of adjusting an actuator of the combustion engine in accordance with a target value (S) determined through the step (102) of minimizing the cost function (K); and last, a step of repeating the steps.
