According to the present invention, a device for correcting a strip in a vertical annealing furnace comprises a leaning action part for correcting a leaning strip moving along a rotating roll, and the leaning action part comprises: a measuring part for measuring a degree of leaning of one side of the strip; and a rotating part for rotating the rotating roll on the basis of the information measured by the measuring part. Therefore, an objective of the present invention is to provide the device for correcting the strip in the vertical annealing furnace capable of preventing plate breakage due to tension error in the heating furnace, performing a correction when the strip is leaned, and recovering when the plate breakage occurs.
