Advances in the technology for th bright annealing of wire and cold rolled steel strip

This paper will report on the operational aspects of Australia's first large-scale (7 tons) self lift, cold wall high vacuum annealing furnace, which has currently introduced new dimensions, economies and improvement of quality of the product to be heat treated.
