To realize distance measurement with high accuracy without increasing a sampling rate.SOLUTION: A passive entry device 10 used in a vehicle 50 is provided. The passive entry device 10 comprises: a transmission part 13 for outputting a transmission signal in a first frequency bandwidth modulated by a transmission data signal; a receiving part 14 for receiving as a receiving signal a signal in a second frequency bandwidth output simultaneously with the transmission signal from a key device; and a control part 12 for shaping the transmission data signal and the receiving data signal obtained by demodulating the receiving signal into a sinusoidal signal, generating each of a first analysis signal and a second analysis signal using the transmission data signal and the receiving data signal shaped into the sinusoidal signal, and calculating a phase difference using the first analysis signal and the second analysis signal to measure a distance between the key device and the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
