PORTAFILTER WITH MULTIPLE SENSORS FOR MEASURING THE COFFEE AND WATER TEMPERATURE IN COFFEE MAKERS

The invention relates to an appliance able to measure the temperature of the coffee pulp/water in a coffee maker’s portafilter during the coffee extraction and of the temperature of the freshly-ground coffee inside the portafilter. According to fig. (A) the apparatus in question comprises a handle (1) and a modified portafilter (2) with mounted sensors (3) joined together by a threaded rod (9) and a quick -type connector (11) so that the appliance can be adapted to any type of modified portafilter (2) of any type of espresso coffee maker, always with the same handle (1). According to fig. (B), the appliance is switched on by means of the master switch (6) which is connected, through the conductors of the circuit (4), with the two sensors (3), with the sensor’s selector switch (7), with the thermometer screen (5) and with the battery (10). The sensor’s selector switch (7) has three ON / OFF / ON options to enable the alternation of the two sensors (3). The appliance is in position to measure multiple water temperatures in espresso coffee makers as well as the temperature of the ground coffee beans via the operation of a built-in thermometer and the application of any modified espresso coffee maker’s portafilter type.
