The present invention relates to a device for entirely simultaneous ventral and dorsal slicing of the carcass of a pig or another animal with a similar body structure that has already been sacrificed, preferably being made up of two robots arranged facing one another, with the peculiarity that the dorsal cut includes splitting the backbone and the vertebrae, while the ventral cut slices the backbone in two. This device of the invention comprises means that allow the body of the pig or similar animal to be sliced into two practically identical halves, along the backbone thereof, while said device cleans the flesh from the intervertebral space thereof, so that this device simultaneously performs a cut on the ventral side of the backbone and a second cut on the dorsal side, separating the flesh from the space between the vertebrae.
