Disclosed are a new-type snake bone component (10) used on an endoscope, and an endoscope (100). The new-type snake bone assembly (10) comprises a plurality of hinged rings (5), wherein one end of each of the hinged rings (5) is provided with two hinged lugs (501) in a first radial direction, and an outer wall of the other end of the hinged ring (5) is provided with two recessed bases (502) in a second radial direction; and an inner wall of the hinged lug (501) is provided with a fastener (503), and the recessed base (502) is provided with a fastening hole (504) inside same. Compared with the structures of similar existing products, the structure of the hinged rings (5) has a standardized design to facilitate automatic processing, and the snake bone assembly (10) can also be assembled in an automated manner, thereby improving the production efficiency and capacity of the snake bone assembly (10), reducing the human labor cost, and further reducing the cost of the snake bone assembly (10).
