PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a method, for a technical task, to join a medical endoscope's bending operation rope with a bending piece by means of a connection member without deteriorating the materials' mechanical strength properties by thermal effects on the bending operation rope but improving the properties. PSOLUTION: The bending operation rope is intertwined with a metal wire manufactured by performing a strong drawing treatment to an austenite stainless steel wire. With regard to the temperature and tensile failure strength properties of the austenite-based stainless steel wire after treated by a strong wire drawing treatment, the connection member whose fusion temperature is equivalent to a temperature where the tensile break strength increases is used for connecting the bending operation rope with the bending piece, in order to increase the tensile break strength of the bending operation rope at the point of its connection with the bending piece.
