A camera video transmission/playback system according to the present disclosure comprises a camera and a viewer. The camera generates and records first video data composed of a plurality of image frames to which time stamps are given and which are synchronized with each other on an external network, and transmits the first video data to the viewer via the external network. The viewer displays the first video data transmitted from each camera via the external network, records the first video data as second video data, and periodically calculates the round-trip delay time in packet transmission to and from the camera. When the camera receives a marker-adding command from the viewer via the external network, a marker is added to an image frame with a time stamp indicating the time corrected on the basis of the round-trip delay time in the first video data which is captured and recorded by itself.
