The present invention is a voice recognition function and TTS function embedded in a terminal equipped with a voice recognition function and a TTS function such as a smart phone, a tablet PC, a laptop, a talking toy, an AI speaker, and a foreign language voice expression such as movies, dramas, pop songs, news, etc. Regarding an interactive foreign language learning method that enables a user to learn a foreign language in a format in which the terminal and the learner naturally communicate using the contained video or audio content, more specifically, the terminal inputs a learner's voice for voice recognition. If the learner's voice is input in the standby state and it is not the same as the current learning target sentence or belongs to the same category, the terminal reads the current learning target sentence first and then learns according to the learner's speaking. If the voice input is the same as the next sentence of the current learning target sentence or belongs to the same category, the terminal and the learner alternately speak one sentence at a time, and the terminal and the learner communicate one to one by voice transmission. The present invention relates to an interactive foreign language learning method using a voice recognition function and a TTS function of a terminal that enables natural language learning in a conversational form.
