Preparing a mixed solution by mixing a radical initiator, distilled water, and a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1 in one aspect of the present invention (step 1); And adding vinylidene fluoride (VDF) to the mixed solution prepared in step 1 (step 2); providing a method of manufacturing polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) nanoparticles do. The method for producing polyvinylidene fluoride nanoparticles according to the present invention is a process using an existing ammonium-based surfactant (ammonium perfluorinated octanoate, APFO) having 8 carbon fluoride by using a polyethylene glycol-based compound for emulsion polymerization. Not only can it be used in a much smaller amount, the compound used in the present invention has an effect that can reduce the manufacturing cost of polyvinylidene fluoride as well as APFO replacement because there is little human accumulation and toxicity.
