FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: microwave generator, controlled by voltage (GCV), relates to microwave engineering, is intended for creation of sources of continuous output power signal with frequency tuning or for operation as part of phase adjustment circuits. Microwave generator comprises active element [1] with input [2] and output [3] leads, arranged on metal base [4], two sections [5] and [6] of microstrip lines, dielectric resonator [8], arranged on dielectric base [9] between sections [5] and [6] of microstrip lines, varicap [13], wherein second end of second section [6] of microstrip line forms power output [15] of microwave generator. Oscillatory system of generator is formed by principle of parallel feedback via dielectric resonator [8] and electromagnetically connected sections [5] and [6] of microstrip lines, which, in turn, are connected to input [2] and output [3] leads of active element [1]. When changing the resonant frequency of the dielectric resonator [8], the condition for formation of a balance is changed, which is carried out at a different frequency proportional to the change in the frequency of the dielectric resonator [8].;EFFECT: technical result is improvement of power and noise characteristics of microwave generator, faster tuning of frequency tuning.;1 cl, 2 dwg
