The invention relates to an atomic micro-clock (10a) comprising: - a laser diode (12) of which a supply current (I (t)) is configured to emit a bi-chromatic optical field; and - temperature regulation means (21) of said laser diode (12); - a first control loop comprising a regulator (19) for an offset (I 0) of said supply current (I (t) ); - a second control loop making it possible to regulate a modulation frequency (ω) of said supply current (I (t)) of said laser diode (12); - a third control loop comprising a regulator (26a ) a setpoint (T Cvar) of said temperature regulation means (21) controlled as a function of an amplitude of a signal (SD) at the output of a photodiode (16); said regulator being configured to regulate said setpoint (T Cvar) so that said amplitude of said signal (S D) at the output of said photodiode corresponds to a reference amplitude (A ref) measured under real operating conditions.
