A toy comprises a clip 2 and an ornamental component 3. The toy further comprises a first connector 15 for attaching the ornamental component to the clip in a first mode of play (figure 1) and a second connector (16, figure 2) for attaching the ornamental component to the clip in a second mode of play (figure 2). In the first mode of play the ornamental component is tethered to the clip like a tag. In the second mode of play the ornamental component is displayed upon the clip which acts as a stand. Advantageously, the toy exhibits dual functional modes of play as it can act as a tag or be displayed. The toy is less likely to be lost or damaged and is portable.
