PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device for enhancing interest of a game by promoting a closer relationship between input of classification information by toy bodies attached with classification information respectively and game progress.SOLUTION: The game device has: an information input means for allowing classification information about at least one toy body to be inputted among two or more toy bodies attached with classification information for identifying the classification respectively; a data storage means for storing a plurality of character data stored in association with the classification information about the toy bodies; a condition decision means for deciding whether or not a first condition is met during a game; and an information input decision means for deciding whether or not the classification information about the toy body is inputted to the information input means within the first prescribed time after the condition decision means decides that the first condition is met. When it is decided, by the information input decision means, that the classification information about the toy body is inputted within the first prescribed time, the character data associated with the inputted classification information about the toy body are read from the data storage means.
