Особливості відтворення розмовної та побутової лексики в перекладах роману джерома Девіда Селінджера «Над прірвою у житі»ud(The peculiarities of playback of colloquial and conversational language in translations of Jerome David Salinger’s novel «The catcher in the rye»)

摘要

У статті проаналізовано особливості відтворення перекладачами Олексою Логвиненком та Рити Райт-Ковальовоїudрозмовної та побутової лексики в перекладі роману Джерома Девіда Селінджера «Над прірвою у житі». Зазначено,udщо у перекладах роману зустрічаються різні стратегії перекладу. Зокрема, це – непрямий переклад із привнесенням авторського смислу, прямий переклад, прямий спрощений переклад, а також суто авторська стратегія перекладу. Зроблено компаративний аналіз перекладів роману О.Логвиненка та Р.Райт-Ковальової. Зазначено, що у даних перекладачів перекладацька тактика не суперечить стилістичним уподобанням О.Логвиненка та й Р.Райт-udКовальової та авторському задуму, що концентрує просторічний стиль роману, увиразнює інтенсивність еквівалентної розмовної лексики тощо.udЯк свідчать порівняння перекладів, переклад роману Джерома Девіда Селінджера «Над прірвою у житі»udО.Логвиненка є більшою мірою, ніж переклад Р.Райт-Ковальової, авторським, непрямим, із використанням дотич-udної до змісту оригіналу побутової та розмовної лексики тощо.ud(The article deals with the peculiarities of playback of colloquial and conversational language in translations of Jerome David Salinger’s novel «The Catcher in the Rye» having been done by the translators Alexey Logvynenko and Rita WrightKovaleva.udIt was shown that in translations there are different strategies of translating. For example, it is indirect translation with the author’s meaning, direct translation, direct shortened translation and the translation which is purely the author’s one.udTranslation is a kind of verbal mediation, which is fully focused on foreign-language original. In the scientific literature,udforeign language translation is considered as a form of existence of the message is kept in the original and changes in the translated text by the mechanism of discourse.udIn the process of translation certain relations between two texts are established. These texts were written in different languages (the original text and the translation of this text). Comparing these texts it becomes clear the internal mechanism of the translation that can detect equivalent text units and can emphasize the changes in the form and content which take placeudunder conditions of changing units of the original text to the equivalent units of the translation.udThe authors of the article made a comparative analysis of the translation of the novel having been done by A.Logvynenko R.Wright-Kovaleva. It was noted that this interpreters of different variants of translations used a tactic which does not contradict stylistic preferences of A.Logvynenko R.Wright-Kovaleva and the author’s intention, which concentrates a vernacularudstyle of the novel, emphasizes the intensity of the equivalent of colloquial and conversational language.udIt was shown that the translation of Jerome David Salinger’s novel «The Catcher in the Rye» done by A.Logvynenko is more author’s, indirect, than the translation done by R.Wright-Kovaleva. In the translation A.Logvynenko uses indirect, implicit language in relation to the content of the original of the novel.)
