u22Philosophical Ideas and Artistic Pursuits in the Traditions of Asia and the Westu22 is the title of the National Endowment for the Humanities Workshop Series held at College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, IL, during the academic year 2007-08. This piece will attempt to provide a brief introduction to a few of the lectures and a dialog by Martin Heidegger which may well provide the quickest access to his later thought, which in turn might be of help to faculty who would like to be able to draw upon Heidegger as a resource for thinking about u22Philosophical Ideas and Artistic Pursuits in the Traditions of Asia and the West.u22
