В статье исследуются традиции и особенности определения категории«цивилизация» и их влияние на формирование проблемного поля, идеалов и норм компаративистских культурно-цивилизационных исследований и классификаций в рамках Международного общества по сравнительному изучению цивилизаций. = In the paper the author analyses the traditions and features of the «civilization» definition and their influence on formation of investigation field, ideals and norms of study of civilization and classifications thereof accepted in the International Society for the Comparative Study of Civilizations.
