This appendix analyzes the non-helicopter (helo)-capable cuter tacticsquestionnaires. The non-helo-capable cutter questionnaire was sent to the Commanding Officers (COs) of all the Mature Class MECs, 100s, 82s, and 180s, and to the Prospective COs (PCOs) of the Mature Class of cutters. The questionnaire was divided into seven sections, each of which covered a specific aspect of the cutter or its operations. A sample questionnaire is included in appendix F. The responses will be discussed by type of responding unit. Table D-1 is a summary of the number of questionnaires sent and received by platform type. It should be noted that some of the cutters were required to return more than one questionnaire since they operated in more than one District.
