Scott River Flow Enhancement Pilot Project: 'Beaver Dams' (Revised)

This project was designed to enhance fall streamflows in the Scott River for fallrun chinook salmon. Three low head, temporary dams were built to impound water and recharge adjacent aquifers. Water quality was monitored. Local agency and landowner cooperation was an essential ingredient in the completion of this project. Results were mixed due, in part, to an extremely low water year.
