Summaries of the Statistical Data on Elder Abuse in Domestic Settings. An211 Exploratory Study of State Statistics for FY 93 and FY 94

The purpose of this study is to develop summaries and national esimates of the211u001edomestic elder abuse statistics for FY 93 and FY 94. Data on elder abuse reports 211u001ewere collected from state adult protective service (APS) agencies and state units 211u001eon aging across the nation in the late fall of 1994. A total of 55 different 211u001eagencies (which represent all 54 jurisdictions in the country) responded to the 211u001esurvey.
