Innovation in the Japanese Construction Industry: A 1995 Appraisal

The objective of the project is to provide an evaluation of the state-of-the-artof the various aspects of the Japanese building and construction industry, featuring comparison with the U.S. counterparts. To accomplish this task, a team of experts was assembled in the technical areas to be included in the assessment. The experts were selected from the industry, academia, and research laboratories.
