PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a construction material coated with Japanese paper, capable of coating a construction material such as a panel with a Japanese paper raw material without using an adhesive. PSOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the construction material coated with the Japanese paper of this invention includes: an adjusting process of adjusting a solution containing hydrogel-added water for which hydrogel is added to water and the Japanese paper raw material; a coating forming process of forming a coating by spraying the solution adjusted in the adjusting process to the construction material; and a drying process of drying the construction material on which the coating is formed by the coating forming process.
