Test Plan: I-40 TTIS (Traveler and Tourist Information System) System/Historical211 Data Analysis

This document is part of a series of planning documents for the evaluation of211u001eField Operational Tests of Traveler Information Services in Rural Tourism Areas 211u001e(Branson TRIP and I-40 TTIS) prepared by Battelle, along with subcontractors BRW 211u001eIncorporated and CJI Research, for the U.S. Department of Transportations ITS 211u001eJoint Program Office (DOT/JPO). As part of the overall evaluation, several tests 211u001ehave been planned. This document serves as a detailed test plan for one such 211u001etest: system and historical data. Section 2.0 presents an overview of the 211u001eapproach, and the remaining sections present specific details for implementing 211u001ethe approach. This test will also document the private sector financial 211u001econtribution to the TTIS deployment. This measurement addresses the Arizona 211u001eDepartment of Transportation (ADOT) objective of identifying alternative funding 211u001esources for ITS deployment.
