摘要

Upstate New York and the Great Lakes region have a significant stake in efforts to control global warming, said Anthony Masiello, mayor of the City of Buffalo. It appears that global warming could have negative impacts on many of our region's strengths, assets, and resources. Masiello spoke at a conference on global climate change convened by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Buffalo on June 23, 1998.
