The project objective is the provision of support services through the Law Center211u001eto advocates throughout the aging network served under the Older Americans Act 211u001e(OAA). National Senior Citizens Law Center (NSCLC) staff has expertise in 211u001esubstantive areas such as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Supplemental 211u001eSecurity Income (SSI), disability insurance, home health, nursing facility law, 211u001epension and retiree health, older veterans issues, protective services and age 211u001ediscrimination. Project services cover case consultations, advice and technical 211u001eassistance, training, and assistance with OAA-funded legal delivery systems. 211u001eWritten products include periodicals, manuals, memoranda on current developments, 211u001eand public educational brochures. An area for future improvement and expansion is 211u001ethe dissemination of information through the Law Centers web site and other 211u001eelectronic means.
