Agenda: Changing Nurses' Careers in 1999

This report presents the main findings of a survey of registered nurses in211u001emembership of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN). This is the fourteenth annual 211u001esurvey commissioned by the RCN and conducted by the Institute for Employment 211u001eStudies (IES). The survey explores nurses' views across a wide range of issues 211u001erelated to working as a nurse and having a career in nursing. This report also 211u001eprovides an overview of the dimensions and dynamics of the UK nursing labor 211u001emarket, and highlights current policy priorities.
