Emergency Management for Public Transportation Systems: Research Report (Tasks 3 and 4) (Revised)

摘要

This project examines the possible roles that public transit agencies can fulfill in the emergency management plans of their cities and/or counties. This report summarizes Tasks 3 and 4 of the project. Task 3 was the production of a primer for transit agencies on developing emergency management plans and coordinating with the emergency management efforts in their local jurisdictions. In Task 4, the primer was tested with two Texas transit agencies and modified in response to comments and suggestions received from these potential users of the primer.
