An emergency call facility has one or more emergency call lines (2) in which a number of emergency phones (3) are arranged, and an emergency call interfacing device (6) to which the emergency call lines (2) are joined. The emergency call interfacing device (6) is connected to the emergency call reporting station (13) via the public telephone system (12), in which the emergency call lines (2) of the emergency call facility (1) can be switched on to the public telephone system(12).
