PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY OF NaCl-KCl MELTS CONTAINING DISSOLVED TITANIUM CHLORIDES

摘要

The original object of the research was stated in broad terms: “To study the physical-chemical properties of fused-salt elsctrolytes for electrodeposition of titanium metal”. As this work progressed, and the work in progress at other laboratories was made known to us, the objective of this project was narrowed to the following principal aim: “To study the equilibrium between titanium metal, TiCl3 and TiCl2 in the presence of NaCl-KCl malts”.
