摘要

The author conducted flight experiments in jet aircraft, which sim¬ulated “Pre-weightlessness” and “Post-weightlessness” accelerations.nIt was shown that alternations of acceleration and the weightless state decrease the acceleration tolerance of the subject and the effi¬ciency of the physiological recovery mechanisms.nThe implications for planning of manned space flight are, first, thrust values and re-entry profiles must take the lower acceleration-tolerance into consideration; and second, that adequate G-protection must be designed for the pilot, to prevent dangerous effects of unavoid¬able high accelerations.
