An Automatic Blood Pressure Measuring System for detecting and measuring the arterial diastolic and systolic pressures of a human has been developed. The purpose of this system is to provide physiological information about an individual while he is being subjected to varying conditions of environment and stress.nThe system is unique in that it uses transistor logic for performing the program functions. It is housed in a compact, portable case and is equipped with a carrying handle. The range of operation is from 100 to 200 mm. of mercury, and the measurement can be automatically repeated at intervals varying from 1 to 15 minutes.
