Drag Force Currentmeter

摘要

A drag force meter was implemented with a cylinder held by a cantilever beam where two strain gauges measures the deflection force. The drag force meter provides an electrical output. Tests showed that a North-seeking sphere or cylinder, i.e., slightly buoyant, incorporating a series of North-seeking magnets and fastened to a string of swivels, is feasible. (Author)
