Proposed Municipal Plans and Programs for Pollution Control. Volume II

The report presents the sewerage plans and programs prepared by consultants to the four Valley Region municipalities in compliance with orders issued to the municipalities by the Connecticut Water Resources Commission. Presented on a regionwide basis are the service areas, system components, and construction and operating costs resulting from the individual municipal plans and programs. The proposed plans include municipal collection and treatment of domestic and commercial wastes from urbanized areas; private subsurface treatment and disposal in rural areas; collection and treatment by the municipalities of all sanitary and some process wastes from industries.
