The Study of Criteria for Strength and Shrinkage Control of Cement-Treated Bases

The investigation was initiated to provide information on factors affecting shrinkage and the mechanism of drying shrinkage. The study was also concerned with the causes and control of cracking of pavements, with specific reference to cement-treated base. Another objective was to propose a procedure to detect shrinkage potential of soils. (Author)
