The method involves defining target criteria for a clinical study. A patient collective is selected from a database containing patient-data based on acceptance criteria (4). The patient data in the database are evaluated based on the target criteria. A measure for the feasibility of the study is established. The clinical study is checked as a project. The acceptance criteria are modified with a patient model.
