Laser Raman Spectroscopy of Solutes Dissolved in Water from a Remote Platform.

摘要

An optical system for obtaining remote Raman spectra of ionic solutes dissolved in water was built and tested. At present,the system has been used to detect and identify 150ppm of NO3(-) at a distance of 21ft. Furthermore,the same system has been used to detect oil slicks on the surface of water,and dissolved SO4(-2), PO4(-3),and CO3(-2).
