摘要

The report discusses U.S. electric utility requirements for central station generating equipment and the supplying industry,for the purpose of describing the climate underlying possible commercial acceptance of advanced energy conversion technology. It also covers institutional factors which might tend to encourage or discourage acceptance. The report contains several short case studies of patterns of acceptance and has business profiles of the major supplier firms.
