An Evaluation of Home Hemodialysis Systems. Volume II. Technical.

摘要

An analysis of dialysate supply systems for home hemodialysis including systems,medical aspects,costs and use factors represents a complex undertaking. As a result of natural evolution,as well as the intermittent feedback of some test results from the ADL laboratory to the respective manufacturers,supply systems of 1970do not look like those of 1968. Nonetheless,changes in facade and/or components need not invalidate this ADL Report. Basic concerns have not changed. Many evaluation techniques and protocols remain applicable. Furthermore,the ADL Report connotes a serious need for an introspective look at quality control,uniform testing procedures,and minimum standards for all dialysis hardware.
