The report represents the third of a series of analyses based on 4,609 personal interviews conducted in the late spring and early summer of 1975 from a national probability sample of households with children under 14 years of age. This volume is devoted to an analysis of the preferences, opinions and attitudes of current and potential child care consumers. The essential perspective is that of all U.S. households containing children under 14.
