ETHICSWEB Technical Series. Manual for the Creation of Standards and Guidelines for Sharing Information on Learning Resources and Training Programmes in the Field of Ethics and Science.

One of the main aims of the ETHICSWEB European Project is the creation of standards for sharing information in the field of ethics and science. In this context, the Documentation Service of the Istituto Superiore di Sanita, in collaboration with the Information Technology Service, produced a series of Guidelines to implement an XML schema. This kind of schema allows different types of objects to be described in a structured way through metadata. In this guide the authors analyze the methodology used to describe information about sharing information on learning resources and training programmes on ethical issues of science.
