摘要

This report presents results of experimental investigations of simple piping systems with energy absorbing restrainers subjected to simulated seismic and thermal expansion loadings. The test results are prepared for correlation studies with the results of computer analysis. The projected experimental investigations will be in two parts: simple and complex piping systems. This report deals only with several versions of the simple system. These versions were systematically developed so that trends and characteristics could be studied.
