Management Alternatives Report on the Diagnostic-Feasibility Study for Golden Lake, Anoka County, MN

摘要

The study indicates that Golden Lake, MN suffers from: high nutrient and color loading from drainage ditch, hypolimnetic oxygen depletion; sediment phosphorus release, and an abundance of rough fish. The recommendations made are: diversion of in flows; hypolimnetic aeration; and biomanipulation. The report was prepared in partial fulfillment of the requirements of an EPA Clean Lakes Program grant.
