Supplemental Quality Assurance Criteria for High-Resolution Gas Chromatography/High-Resolution Mass Spectrometric Determination of 2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin in Biological Tissue

An analytical technique has been developed to demonstrate both mass spectral and gas chromatographic resolution during each HRGC/HRMS-M5D determination of TCDD. The technique uses (13)C6 1,2,3,4-TCDD and (37)Cl4 2,3,7,8-TCDD to demonstrate the resolution. A technique has also been developed to measure the minimum level of detection of TCDD in each sample.
