摘要

The largest of the 19 Pueblos in New Mexico, the Pueblo of Zuni is located in thenorthwest portion of the state about 40 miles south of Gallup. The Pueblo is governed by an eight-member Tribal Council elected every four years by the Zuni people. The primary goal of the project was to document the social service needs of Zuni elders in order to provide information for social service development or assistance, and to produce a tribal-specific service plan based on the information. The background & community description section presents findings on demographic characteristics, social resources, economic resources, mental health, physical health, activities of daily living, cumulative impairment score, and social service needs. The report describes social service clusters, the social service environment, and a social service plan.
