Rectangular Mesh and the Variable-Size Mesh Process in the Two-Dimensional TLM (Transmission-Line Matrix) Method

The introduction of rectangular meshes, and of a variable-size mesh process, in the original two-dimensional transmission-line matrix (TLM) method, leads to a dramatic reduction of computer CPU time for many problems. The theory of these modifications is given, as are some results for fin-line structures.
