摘要

A two-dimensionnal photon counting detector system was developed. A multistep production process for the conducting strip anode was developed to meet the requirements concerning the relative accuracy of the determination of the location where phenomena occur. A multiplexer card was developed to substantially shorten data transfer time between evaluation electronics and computer. Laboratory tests show that the resolution is not limited by the microchannel plate tubes, but by the evaluation electronics. Recordings with polarization filters show that the obtained accuracy of the determination of the linear polarization using microchannel plate detectors is comparable with other methods. Narrow band recordings of the planetary nebula NGL40 demonstrate the possibility to analyze a class of planetary nebulae with relatively low excited envelope and very hot central star.
