摘要

The Mars 94 mission and payload and orbit around Mars are discussed. Scientificobjectives including the investigation of Martian atmosphere and spectroscopic and chemical and mineral composition of the Mars surface are outlined. The planetary Fourier spectrometer is described. The experimental scheme, optical banks, moving mirror, laser diode, sensors, radiative cooling, pointing platform, data processing unit, fast Fourier transform unit, calibrations, ground support equipment and DC/DC convertor are described. Data handling and management and planning are discussed.
