I've always hated the old saying 'those who can, do, and those who can't, teach'. In reality, it's more like 'those who can-pass it on'. The only way to improve our career field is for the best of our communications and information people to pass on that excellence by teaching at our premier command info schools. Our instructors at Keesler Air Force Base are there because they are the best at what they do. They are laying the foundation and teaching the skills our airmen need to meet the challenges of the expeditionary aerospace force. There are plenty of things that are important in our career field, and instructor duty is at the top of the list. What better way to leave your mark in our career field than by molding the minds of those who will come after you. The students are tomorrow's leaders and our instructors will have an impact on them and the Air Force for the next 30 years-it's a lasting impact.
